Hi Cathy, you’re very welcome!
Sorry, I don’t know of any. A quick search online didn’t seem to turn up any results either. :/ Maybe we’ll have to make some of our own!

Do you know of any audio recordings of Greek chanting of the NT, preferably early MSS?

Hi Manolis, thanks so much for the additional info and link to your project. That’s an awesome project! If you want to highlight each verse or even each word as it is being read, check out aeneas for forced alignment. Looks like someone else used it successfully for a similar project using the same audio files here: https://gitlab.com/ZhangBoyi/greek_audio_bible_epub3
I have some experience with using aeneas so I’d be glad to help if that’s something that would be of interest to you.

He is also a preacher (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWh6sb5FqoA).

An audio web player has been developed for the site https://ebible.gr:

– Link: https://ebible.gr/traudio
– Info: https://github.com/ManolisMariakakis/Narration-of-the-Greek-New-Testament-TR-Scrivener-1894

This player utilizes MP3 resources at 160kbps, providing a responsive web interface for listening to Bible chapters while simultaneously reading the text.

You’re welcome! Early modern English isn’t really something I’ve looked into much, but I presume you’ve found this playlist?

https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL03E140D5C3F20BDC

And this is likely the Matthew recording on Amazon that you were referring to: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tyndales-Bible-Matthews-Original-Pronunciation/dp/B00J9O7ZFQ

So far my research isn’t turning up anything else. :/

Slightly off topic, but are you aware of any audio recording of the Wycliffe or Tyndale Bibles in the middle/early modern English accent? I found a few chapters on YouTube and a recording of Matthew on Amazon, but not sure if there’s anything more complete out there.

But I also am trying to learn languages by listening to audio while following along in the text. For this, bible.com (youversion) and bible are generally great.  But unfortunately the former is missing some chapters and the latter has no Greek audio.  So, I would suggest including modern Greek if you find any.  But of course make it clear which is modern and which is koine so no one is misled.

Thanks! That site looks to be just “repackaging” John Simon’s recordings (which I have already linked to above).
